Showcase Opportunities for Every Student

1. Regional Expo

Students may choose to participate in the Regional ​​Expo, State Convention, or both. Expos are in-person ​​events.


February 10, 2025 - Registration opens for ​educators


March 10, 2025 - Registration opens for students ​​participating in the Regional Expo and State ​​Convention.


April 10, 2025- Application deadline for ​​participating in the Regional Expo.


April 12, 2025 - In-person Regional Expo in your ​region of the Commonwealth (location TBD)

2. State Convention

Educators should encourage selected students ​to improve their submission based on feedback ​received at the Regional Expo. The State ​Convention will be held virtually.


April 21, 11:59pm - Deadline for State ​​application


April 21-27, 2025 - Virtual judging for State ​Convention


April 28, 2025 - Virtual award announcement

3. National Convention

A select number of students will get the ​opportunity to showcase in-person at the National ​Convention.


Educators should encourage selected students to ​improve their submission based on feedback ​received.


June 4-6, 2025 - The National Convention will be ​held in-person at the Henry Ford Museum of ​American Innovation in Dearborn, Michigan.


Supporters are encouraged tune in and help ​celebrate all of our inventors at the awards ​ceremony on June 7.
